David Beckham is arguably the world’s most famous footballer and he was born in 1975 in Leytonstone. As well as being famous for his world-class spot kicks and high work rate; David Beckham has become a huge celebrity off the field as well and is married to Victoria Beckham from former Spice Girls fame.

The couple have three sons and David now plays his games for LA Galaxy in Major League Soccer. He is famous for starting his blossoming career at Manchester United where rumours have it he fell out with Alex Ferguson in a dressing room showdown that led to Beckham’s untimely departure.

He has also played for Real Madrid and AC Milan and he started his younger days off with Tottenham. He has gained many caps for England was awarded with his 100th in March 2008 and has not yet officially retired from eth national side. Beckham’s trophy cabinet is impressive to say the very least and since making his Manchester United debut at the age of 17; he has won six Premier League titles, two FA Cups and the UEFA Champions League.

While at Real Madrid he won La Liga in his final season and when he joined LA Galaxy he was made famous across the globe for his huge pay packet.

As well as football, David has also tried his hand at modelling with famous designers such as Armani using David as a front for an underwear collection. He and his wife still own a house in the UK as well as one in the US and Spain as well as countless other holiday-type homes.
